A Poster About Tech Addiction
This speed art video shows a message-driven poster being drawn in Adobe Illustrator. The theme is technology addiction: people glued to their phones like zombies, missing the life happening around them. The quote that inspired it is “Whatever you do, don’t wake up at 65 years old and think about what you should have done with your life.”
The idea
Rather than a decorative piece, this is a poster with a point of view. The visual language is flat vector illustration with strong colour blocking, which suits social commentary because the message reads quickly. The same style is suitable for poster design, wall art and animation backgrounds.
What to look for
Watch how the composition puts the message first and the detail second: the main figures are established early and the supporting elements come in around them. If you design posters, notice how few colours are needed when the shapes carry the meaning.
This is a speed art video, not a step-by-step tutorial. It is meant to show the process and give you ideas. For guided lessons, see the step-by-step tutorials linked below.
